Waukegan, Illinois
Located on the shore of Lake Michigan, 40 miles north of downtown Chicago, the city of Waukegan is the county seat of Lake County, Illinois. The city began as a Pottawatomie settlement and French trading post in the 17th century; “Waukegan” is the Pottawatomie word for “fort.” With more than 92,000 residents, the city is part of the greater area known as “Chicagoland.” Its most famous resident, who grew up in Waukegan, was the comedian Jack Benny. Science fiction writer Ray Bradbury was born in Waukegan and included descriptions of the city in some of his works.
Representing clients throughout Chicagoland, the attorneys at VanPopering Law Offices assist individuals who have been seriously injured in car, trucking, or boating accidents; through medical malpractice; in falls suffered on someone else’s property; or in a variety of other circumstances. We have built a solid reputation by reaching successful resolutions of claims involving most types of injury that people may suffer as a result of another person’s negligence. We also assist clients in wrongful death actions, as well as in civil litigation involving injuries to minors and children.
Our goal is to achieve maximum recovery for our clients. While we try to minimize the amount of litigation required, we are not afraid to go to court if our clients could not obtain a fair result otherwise. Throughout the process, we keep the clients informed and involved. Moreover, we do not charge for our services unless a case results in recovery for our client.
In Chicago, our offices are located at 205 West Wacker Drive, Suite 508. We can also be reached at 312-551-0099, or by email at Kris@vanpoperinglaw.com.
